The Mock Trials, Theatre and the school newspaper are some of the fairly popular extracurricular activities that our school hosts. I recommend participating in programs such as the Kids helping kids, the Entrepreneurship academy and the health academy to name a few.

From what I have seen on campus, the most popular extracurricular activities would be guitar club, theater, and journalism -- though that answer is swayed through the individuals who I am around the most. Personally, the extracurricular I would recommend the school's Anime Club and Writer's Society. I am involved with both of these clubs and I highly enjoy spending my personal time there.

San Marcos students love to support their sports teams as a pass time. Being a part of the "Royal Pride" at every football, basketball, volleyball, soccer game is an active activity in and of itself. The many dances we hold are also very popular, from the PGP, or Post Game Party we hold after our first home football game, to Winter Formal, to the Kids Helping Kids Winter Ball, to our final Prom. Finally, exploring our beautiful city of Santa Barbara is a pass time no SM student can pass up. You're bound to find a Royal or two relaxing at one of our many beaches, walking down State St., having lunch in Old Town Goleta, or jogging near the University on the weekend.
