You can usually find Niagara students getting involved in community planned events. Otherwise they are either enjoying the outdoors during the warmer months, or spending time with friends in either the dining hall or the Gallagher Center during the cold winter.

The number one thing to do at Niagara if Late Nights at Niagara. The school has a theme some weekends where they will have bowling or a rodeo. The second is to sit on O'shea beach which is a huge section of grass outside one of the dorms. Kids read, play games and just relax on O'shea beach. The third thing is to just walk around the beautiful campus.

  1. Visiting the gorge, which is five minute walking distance from the campus. It overlooks the Niagara River and has plenty of hiking trails and sight seeing.
  2. There's an incredible amount of clubs you can join, some are just clubs with people in your same major. Always something to join.
  3. School offers a lot of activities for your specific graduating class that are always fun.

As a Division I school, students at Niagara University enjoy attending sports events and cheering on our Purple Eagles. Furthermore, since the campus is located in Western New York which is doomed to a seemingly eternal winter, we also enjoy skiing to class and betting on how many days each month will have temperatures above freezing.
