The most ideal student for Towson University would be the ambitious go-getter. Towson is a place to thrive when it comes to both school work and getting involved. There are so many different clubs to get involved in on campus that you can't help but be a part of one. We have everything from Greek life to multicultural organizations to clubs to save the tigers in the wild. Any club you can think of is on this campus. As a student, if you are interested in making something a club that did not previously exist, you can grab some friends and form the club; it is that simple. If you are someone who loves to get involved and meet new people, this is the perfect place. Towson also has rigorous coursework in whatever major you wish to declare. Here, you can also have two majors and a minor and still graduate in four years while also being involved. There are endless possibilities at Towson. You must be ambitious in order to get involved and stay involved on campus. You must want to thrive and go after your dreams to inspire others to do the same.

There are lots of different types of students at Towson. With that being said there is also one main type of student that I tend to see on campus. That type of student tends to be very social and active in the school. At Towson it would suit people best if they got involved in the school clubs and if they were willing to socialize with others. People at Towson are usually very friendly and love making new friends. If a student is an introvert they will probably feel out of place simply because of how much socialization that happens daily. So a student that is an extrovert and is social and active with the school clubs would benefit most at Towson, simply because that is our culture there.

Any student who is looking for a great learning environment, and a campus that cares. Towson gives its students so many opportunities to get involved whether that is joining a club or starting your own. Also many opportunities to help further students in their academic career, and more with the Writing center, tutoring center, career center, and a staff that will let you work with them in there professional endeavors for experience. I'm apart of the Towson Kronum team which was brought to Towson SGA by a student a couple of years ago. They also have learning communities which you can join. I'm in the STEM community, they are so much fun, and it makes it a lot easier to make friends on campus.
