Southern, like any other school, has a huge variety of dispositions. However, the school seems to cater to students who have phlegmatic tendencies. The leisurely pace may cause the college experience to be too dull for more boisterous personalities, but it's perfect for the many individuals who are always "down to chill." I think one of the most distinctive qualities about the average Southern student is their enforcement of reverse peer pressure. We generally reject any kind of drama and negativity, which often causes students to think twice before going to a big party or getting high on the weekends.
