Firstly, affordability. Classes typically run for less than $1000 for a fully loaded semester. This includes the cost of books! Secondary to this would be class schedule flexibility given the rather broad offerings of traditional and online education. Lastly, location. All 3 campuses are located on the outer reaches of Houston so you get to avoid most of our epic traffic!

It's cheaper than attending university. Since it is smaller, the ratio of student to professor is 5 to 1 so it's more personal. Also, because it is small, it's easier to become immersed and feel at home in the campus.

san jac has three campuses which are convenient for people who want to attend but stay a distance away. they have optionsa as to what campus is closer to them. this school has a veterans office at all of the campuses. that is great for people like me. i am a veteran and they are very helpful. it is not just a small office either, it is more like a whole section cut off for us with computers our own personal counselors and a kitchen. we love food! From my experience so far the instructors here are very helpful and try to do what ever it is they can to help you. there is tons of tutoring and help every where you go at san jacinto college. i love it!
