Hello there! Quadratic equations are all about using two equations and finding out the variables!

P= pizza S= soda

8p +5s=$30.08 7p+6s = $28.53

Trying finding the individual variables and then plugging in that equation into the second problem.

For example: 8p+5s = $30.08

p =($30.08-5s)/8

Fill P in in the equation

8($30.08-5s)/8) +5s= $30.08

Find S.

Once you find S, use 7p+6s =$28.53 to find P!

You will then have the answer to how much an individual pizza slice is!

Enjoy!
