There is no typical Pasadena City College student. The beauty of the atypical, non-standardized student lends to the diversity and the culture of the Pasadena City College. The only commonality that we as students share is our desire to learn and grow and interact with the community in the process. All you need is a passion for learning and the motivation to never give up.

From foreign students to the elderly, PCC opens its doors to everyone. The wide range of classes offered from Gospel Choir, which I am a proud student of, to learning Armenian there is very little that Pasadena City College cannot offer students. The type of students that attend this college lend a wide variety of experiences from different countries and various backgrounds as well. This mixed pot of culture creates the essence of PCC.

Anyone can attend Pasadena City College. PCC has a very established system for students to learn and eventually receive an associate degree or transfer to a 4-year college. Anyone who is interested in learning and being a part of a community should attend Pasadena City College.

From talking to my fellow peers, I found that there are a lot of students that were the "overachievers" in high school, I also found that there were a lot of slackers from high school too. But that was high school, who the students are now are the ones who are serious about getting an education and that's exactly the type of person who should attend Pasadena City College. A Great school for fun a serious people.
