How easy is it to move around the New York University campus? Is there a transportation system I can use to move around the city/town?

It’s very easy to get just about anywhere on campus or in the city once you are familiar with the layout of the city and the way it moves. Most of the time you will be walking everywhere you go if it’s within ten or fifteen blocks—get used to walking, it shall become a way of life! If you need to get anywhere that’s further away, your best bet is using the subway system! Subways will get you just about anywhere in the city for a $2.50 Metro card swipe. Subways will likely seem confusing at first if you haven’t had any experience with them, but you will get more and more familiar with the different subway lines and transfers as you use them.
