Student, Seneca Valley High School, Class of 2016,
High school can be such a drag going from class to class everyday. I'm sorry but I don't really care about the Anglo Saxon culture, or how to find a missing angle in a triangle. The extra curricular activities are what keep students alive throughout the school year, especially at Seneca Valley High School. The football season is a very big and exciting time for Seneca Students. My class size is around 600 students so competition is stiff to make the team but those who make it excel way past the expectations of a typical high school football player. The players are a very tight nit group and there is always a massive student section of Seneca students to watch their team every Friday night. Another popular activity is marching band. Everyone loves being under the Friday Night Lights as the whole town is watching their high schools football team. Their are over 100 members in the marching band and they all love to be able to support their team during the halftime show. Seneca Valley soccer is also a popular sport with limited space left for only the best players. This year our boys team made it to the state cup for the first time ever and the students at Seneca were more hyped up than ever before. I haven't done any one of those extracurricular activities, but I would strongly recommend doing ski club at Seneca Valley. I have been doing it for the past two years and it is a great way to meet new friends with a similar hobby while skiing down the slopes. They're about six trips every year and every one is unforgettable. Even for newcomers to the sport, there are lessons available to excel to ones fullest potential. Seneca is a big school with endless activities.
