Students should attend Methodist University because it gives them a close-knit, family atmosphere with a small campus and class sizes ranging from 12 to 24, a chance to make friends with people from many different states, countries, cultures, and the education and work experience needed to prepare them for life after college through multiple areas of studies and the opportunity to work on campus in the offices and dorms.

The scenery is AMAZING!! It is a very pretty campus and is the nicest campus I've seen. The education you receive is very personal and informative. The professors care about you and will help you in any way possible. It does not have a huge student body so there is more of a connection between professor and student. With everyone being so friendly here, it is easily adaptable and even easier to make friends.

Although there are several reasons I would recommend Methodist University to prospective students, I would have to say the first would be the small class sizes. I have experienced auditorium lectures at my previous university, and I did not excel. When I moved to North Carolina from Alaska, I was so nervous about having another large lecture class and not performing to my best ability. I was pleasantly surprised that Methodist puts a cap of 24 students per lecture, which allows students to have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers. Since I have transferred, my GPA has risen, and I feel comfortable going to my professors at any time for help. Getting the chance to know your professors, and not being just another number or name on a paper is extremely gratifying. Thirdly, someone should attend Methodist University to be part of a wonderful community that supports each other one hundred percent!

There are many reasons someone should attend Methodist University but I will share three of the best reasons. For one there are a great number of opportunities to provide leadership in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Government Association and many more. The students of Methodist take place in the elections, so the way you portray yourself as a person will either make or break their decision to vote for you. Second the Study Abroad Program at Methodist allows students to study in a large variety of other countries pursuing their degree and broadening their horizons. If I did not play baseball my choice of study would be in Italy or another beautiful country that I would enjoy learning their heritage. Last would be the acceptance of other kids and how well everyone at Methodist comes together. No student can ever feel left out because there is just so much to do and so many welcoming students who go out of their way to make others happy. Methodist is a home away from home and such an enjoyable campus for all students.

The faculty and staff are more than helpful. They actually want to see you succeed. The campus grounds are absolutely breathtaking. Methodist University puts a lot of pride into their campus, and that transfers over to their students. The school also provides a safe community. Methodist University is a "dry campus."

This is such a hard question for me to answer, because my experience is different from each of my classmates. In my opinion the top three reasons someone should attend Methodist University is: an advantage to a small student body is the opportunity to have each of your professor's know you by name and have the opportunity to ask questions or get help during class class or office hours- often at large schools I know many of my friends professors' have so many students that it becomes difficult to know each student. Another reason to attend MU is the abundance of clubs and organizations that it offers; from Greek life to Forensic Science club, there is a club available that someone can find an interest in- especially in relation to a students major. I think the final top reason to attend MU is the friendly atmosphere and family like presence. You can't walk anywhere on campus without seeing one person that you know and we all are like a family! There are many reasons why someone should attend MU, but these are just a few!

The person attending Methodist is the goal minded person, but they don't have to be the nerdy type that is always carrying a book in their hand. Methodist is a private college, so it's a little more expensive. The person must be very serious about their education. They are paying a lot of money, so its time to be serious and get your priorities straight. Methodist has some of the top labs that help facilitate your education and your paying for it. So, you need to know when to study and when you can play. The person that goes to Methodist must be ready to buckle down. It's not a party school, but a serious institution, with a lifetime opportunity.

Methodist University is the whole package. The professors and students are some of the kindness people you will meet. In addition, the academic programs here at Methodist are rigorous and prepare students for the real world. Finally, for students that go far away for college, like myself, Methodist truly becomes home.
