Everyone on the UNC campus is very involved, which was appealing to me when I visited the campus. Almost everyone loves cheering on the Heels through Carolina Fever (a student-run fan organization that distributes prizes based on your attendance at games), but other popular extracurriculars are Greek life, Dance Marathon, cultural societies, and intramural sports.

Various Career Clubs--(ie. Consulting Club, Debate Club, Pharmacy Club, etc.) These are all good to get involve in because you'll meet people that have similar aspirations as you and you'll be able to gain a lot from each other. >Dance Marahon-huge organization that seems kind of like a pyramid scheme but it is for an incredible cause. Cannot think of the actual number off the top of my head, but there is an incredible amount of money raised by them for children with cancer each year.

Five attributes that describe a typical student at UNC includes: 1. Hardworking--Most students have a great work ethic and try their hardest in what they do. 2. Involved-Most students gain value outside of the classroom and find their niche outside of time spent studying. 3. High EQ-Students at UNC are not only academically smart but also have a high emotional intelligence. 4. Dependable- Most everyone I've met at UNC is trustworthy and is very genuine. Its not like high school where you had to worry about people contributing to projects and whatnot. 5. Cool-Honestly just all-around cool people. You want to hang around us because most aren't jerks.

UNC students are very much social advocates - they are always taking up a cause, sometimes excessively - but it's nice to see so many different issues you can take up. Also I would say our campus is pretty good-lucking!
