My school offers a variety of extracurricular so that any student can confidently be a part of. A few of these are typical or popular extracurriculars: marching band, cheerleading, and track and field.

The top 3 extracurricular activities are: Drama club, spots, and band.

The top 2 extracurricular activities would be :

  • Drama club: I have been in drama club for over 3 years, and I love every part of it! It is just one big family that almost two thirds of the school are a part of! There are three parts two it: the pit (the teens who make the music), the crew (the teens who make the props and dresses), and the cast. In drama club you can unleash your creativity in so many ways and get noticed for all your hard work! We all work so hard to make every play we do a high school masterpiece, making sure everyone works together and give each other feedback. I mean, I remember in my first year of being a crew member, I worked on microphones and other audio for the cast. I felt lonely, like I was a drama noob. That is until the first day of the plays presentation, I went into the ladies dressing room, wishing them good luck and how they all were so talented. At that moment they all ran to me and hugged me, smeared make up, and all. I cried after, filled with so much happiness that it carried me to be the best that I could at what i did for the next two years! So what I am trying to say, you'll never ever, feel alone, and if you do, it won't be for long!

  • Band: I have been in band for a few years as well and its just like drama club, but on a more competitive level. Our band is the star of our school, people come from from different cities to see us! We enter competitions nationwide and work hard. When I say work hard, I mean HARD! From working in the rain, to weekends, when we don't have school, and even before school starts! But it is all rewarded with benefits such as , parties, trophies, playful pranks, and other things we as a "family' do!
