The type of student who should attend Sun Valley High School is the type to persevere and push through difficult circumstances. In the words of our principal, Mr. Pete Donaughy, "Sun Valley students never take a break from education." Many at our school would agree with that statement.

The type of student who should attend Sun Valley High School is diverse in their interests and abilities. They might be a part of the choir and TV Club. Maybe they attend the Music Appreciation club and Marine Corps JROTC. They may even be a member of the National Honor Society and the Lacrosse Team. That is what sets Sun Valley students apart from many others; we are a diverse group of individuals.

The type of student who should attend Sun Valley High School is the type of student who isn't afraid to take a few chances and step out in order to achieve success. Sun Valley is full of driven students who want to do more with their lives than just the bare minimum. I am proud to be a part of a school that promotes pride in who we are as students and individuals as well as encouraging us to become a part of something bigger than we think we are.

The type of student who should attend Sun Valley High School is one that is excited and prepared to learn. Many teachers have high expectations for their students, and if a student tries hard enough they will reach total success at SVHS.

Sun Valley High school is a school of diversity, so you should be open towards variety and tolerant towards almost everything. Sun Valley has very good teachers so work hard and let them prepare you for life.
