Mr. Thompson English Composition 101  1* 9 December 2014 Breaking the Barrier My muscles have never been so relaxed.  At this moment, everything seemed to be peaceful and perfect. No stresses of deadlines or tests.  Feeling the cool, soothing breeze of the wind slap the back of my neck,  I knew that I would never picture myself to be anywhere else.  Running is my life.  I was gracefully gliding through the wind every step I took.  Hearing the mighty voice repeat in my head, “But those who wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).” Everything seemed to be flawless and motionless up until about two weeks later. “Aliah, I hate to tell you this, but it looks like you will not be running for a long time.  This is a really serious injury,” Doctor Congeni uttered in a soothing, but crackling voice. “Basically, your bones are very fragile, which is typical for any other teenage girl.
