The type of student who should attend my high school, should be any kind of student. Any student of any race, religion, or beliefs. School is a place where people come to learn, and try to better their life, as well as their future. A school shouldn't discriminate against anyone, because every person deserves a chance to become something big and spectacular in life. I don't think anyone should be denied from a school because of who they are, or what they believe in because it could make someone insecure and maybe even make them not even want to continue their education. At my school, there are many kinds of people who attend. There are African American, Hispanics, Whites, and even Muslims. Wilson doesn't deny people based on their beliefs or race, however, they may deny someone with a behavior record. I can understand why they do that, but I think they should give everyone a chance. Someone with a bad record could be coming to a new school because they weren't doing well at another. I think that students change schools so that they could change their behavior, environment, and attitudes. Another reason why schools shouldn't deny someone with bad behavior is because maybe those bad behaviors were happening because they were being bullied, or was forced to do bad things. Everyone should be able to change into a better person.Denying someone from a school is like telling them "No, you cannot come and try to make yourself successful. You are this race, you believe in this, or you are too much trouble." Now, I'm not implying that schools should accept all bad people, but I'm saying that they shouldn't deny their entrance immediately. I think that they should give the student at least one chance to prove that they want to have an education. If a student has anger problems, then they could have someone check on them, and stay on them to make sure they are doing the right things. At my high school, we have this program called Y-Capp. Y-Capp is a counseling program that checks on troubled kids. The students that are in Y-Capp have less behavioral problems, and are making better grades. There isn't an excuse as to why someone should be automatically denied, because there are ways that people can change.
