Students travel a short train ride to the city of Chicago to visit a variety of places such as Navy Pier, The Chicago Symphony Center, The Art Institute, and many others.

Students participate in the Wind Symphony or the choir, Kapelle, where we travel twice a school year around the United States and an out of country tour every two years.

Students have fun being in the center of CUC's campus, we call the Triangle, where we play frisbee, football, other sports, read, do homework, and many other things. It is a great place to be around people.

My school is very small so the people who go here are either very strong Lutherans or athletes. So I would say the top 3 things people either do for fun is 1) The Lutherans would say going to church events and having bible studies 2) The athletes would probably say is hanging out with there teams. Since we all live really close to city I would say over all the students would say taking a trip up the city and spending all day there with their friends.

Three things that Concordia University-Chicago students do for fun are: going on weekend outings to downtown Chicago, shopping in downtown Oak Park (just a mile away from campus), and attending on campus concerts and other fun events.

Students at Concordia University join a bible study, an intramural sport, or join a club for fun. Some of these clubs are focused on just relaxing and having a good time while others are focused on paying it forward. There are many sports for anyone to join such as hockey, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and lacrosse. Since Concordia is a Lutheran based school there are many opportunities to join Bible studies about pretty much anything in the Bible.
