The top 3 things students do for fun at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is to: 1. Badger students tend to party a lot. This spring will be my second semester at this university, and I do not understand how they all have the time and energy to go out as often and party as hard as they do. I enjoy quiet movie nights instead of drinking and not being responsible. 2. Go to the Badger games. The University of Wisconsin-Madison is known for their top tier athletics and student support. Many students purchase season tickets and many others purchase single games just to be able to see the team play. 3. Wisconsin students tend to relax and lose the stress from school during the semesters. For me, there is little time to party and go out because I need to use time to relax and let my brain cool down. All and all, Madison is a great school that offers many different activities for students, but the three I mentioned above are the most popular.

As a college student, especially in a city such as Madison, there are numerous different activities to keep us active and entertained. Madison is a beautiful city conveniently placed right in between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. With that being said, Madison's student body loves nothing more than spending a sunny day camped out at the Memorial Union Terrace. The colorful terrace chairs with the sparkling lake water in the background are a classic Instagram post that almost everyone is guilty of. Students go to terrace to study, have meetings, listen to live music, enjoy delicious food, and spend time with good friends. Another way students at Madison de-stress from all the hours of studying to have some fun is by partaking in the various outdoor activities, clubs, and intermural sports we are offered. There is a club or intermural for every type of person no matter how athletic, or unathletic, one may be. These clubs and intermurals are a perfect way to meet new friends and bond with current ones. Continuing with the theme of sports, nothing gets Madison's student body more hyped than the greatest college tradition of all time: Jump Around. Walking around campus before the big football game on Saturdays makes us feel at home and apart of something much bigger all at the same time. Having thousands of your fellow students standing around you all rooting for the same thing, our precious Badgers, fills our souls with happiness and excitement. What better way to enjoy one's college experience have fun by simply jumping around?

  • There are many fun and strange clubs students can join as well - one of which is a zombie tag club, where students are painted to look like zombies and jump out of the bushes to shoot unsuspecting students with water guns.
