The most popular extracurricular activities at Jones are the cross country/track and field team, Art Service Club, and drama club/ theater. I would recommended joining the drama club/theater group because they provide a great environment to be in, the produce amazing plays/ musicals, and they are all very fun people.

Drama, Association of Latin American Students "ALAS," and track and field/cross country are probably the most popular extra-curriculars at my school. However, I would recommend band. I am currently in band and I would recommend it because we're like one big family. It's a good place to meet new people who are just like you. We also enjoy having more instruments added!

The Association of Latin American Students (ALAS) is one of the most popular extracurricular activities at Jones that is the most popular. This club focuses on educating the Jones community on Latino issues, through service learning activities such as its after school grammar school program where 6-8 graders are educated on what it means to identify oneself as a Latino and volunteering at citizenship workshops, where high school students work as translators or help run errands for the people in charge of the workshops. The second most popular extracurricular at Jones is the Cross Country team, this is a very intense sport, any student in the school is welcomed to joined and is placed through difficult workouts in order to be able to reach the runner's full potential. The third most popular extracurricular activity at Jones is the Asian Club, here students learn about Asian culture through the arts. I would recommend ALAS at Jones, it has been a great experience, now that there are lots of issues dealing with Latinos, this allows for everyone in the Jones community not only Latinos, to see how these issues not only affect the Latinos but everyone in the school. Creates service learning opportunities, to explore a different culture. Acknowledge that Mexicans are not the only Latinos in the united states.

Out of the many extracurriculars that Jones offers, Model U.N., tea club, and essentially any activity that deals with the arts are the most popular and recommended.
