I believe that any student should attend Central High School of Clay County because we accept everyone. We haven't been one school long, but in the four years since we have sombined, we have learned each other's differences and equalities and made the absolute best of it. We have made new friends and met wonderful teachers, and we have been honored to be known as the students who combined the schools. We have a spot for everyone here. Central has many sports, club, and even during school activities to offer to those who come. For every one person, there is at least four people who have the same interest.

Anyone could attend Central High School. By anyone, I mean ANYONE. There is so much diversity, from students representing many countries, to students who have different sexuality. There are so many different types of people at Central. I, personally, have many friends who are from different countries, have different sexualities, different backgrounds, and etc. But the thing is that everyone accepts everyone else for who they are and no matter what kind of background they have, or look different. We have two specific programs that attracts many different kinds of people; ESL and the IB program. ESL stands for English as a Secondary Language and IB stands for International Baccalaureate. Because we are the only school in Springfield, Missouri to have both the IB program and ESL, it contributes to making Central so diverse. We also offer many clubs for different types of people, such as Salsa Club, Debate, Math Club, etc. Central is a place where one can learn many new things everyday, not only because it's a school, but because everyone is different and one can learn different things everyday from everyone.

Someone looking to be a student at Central High should be ready for diversity among class-difficulty, culture, and personalities. A student of Central High should be able to accurately asses whether they can handle going down the riskier path of Honors or Advanced Placement or whether they cannot, and should take regular core classes. They should be prepared for the bountiful cultures in our halls—foreign exchange students from places like Germany, Asia, Brazil, Denmark, and even Sweden! Not only foreigners; American citizens come from all over the United States to our school in Louisiana. Students should be prepared for all of the personalities, for sure. We have accommodations for talented artists, actresses, musicians, authors, and more. To answer you question: there is no specific label or type of student who should go to Central High School. In our small community, we welcome them all.

The only students that should attend Central High School are those that are willing to put in effort in their work, those that are willing to get involved, to get challenged, again and again, all for the sake of furthering their education. Central High School contains countless of extra-curricular activities range from the hospitality side to culinary arts, to forensics, and even to numerous technological studies that all are there to benefit your learning and to help you achieve great things and learn great life skills. I attended Central High School my Freshman year and the first quarter of my Sophmore year and then I moved away but recently I returned because the school I was attending was not challenging enough and it was not helping me to succeed, and so I returned and now I am doing far better than I ever had hoped. The adjustment back to the curriculum was an adversity in itself but it was all worth it as now I'm able to strive and prosper amongst my peers so that I can be the very best "me" that I can be, and I have this school to thank for it.

Ghetto rednecks. Our school district it wide enough to include the farmfolk--those who take their trucks off-roading on the weekends--as well as the suburban "gangstas"--those who crank their stereos to rap and hiphop as they pull into the parking lot.

A student who is interested in a large school with small classes would love Central High, since it is a 5A school with an average of 25 students per class. If the student is well-rounded and prefers a wide range of choices, there are many specific electives to choose from like jazz band, lacrosse, French, etc. Also, it is racially diverse with a gun-free and drug-free zone, to provide a strong sense of security. The teachers are very friendly and helpful in guiding you to find your best future education and career. Since moving into the community as a freshmen, it was very welcoming and supportive. There are many rewards to encourage good grades and a good work ethic in all students. The school offers technology like laptops to use for the most proficiency with the option to take online college classes along with Advanced Placement classes. In conclusion, a student attending Central High School should like a racially diverse, technical, supportive, and large school.

I believe that any student that would like to be academically challenged should attend Central High School because this school is very well challenging academically. You will never find yourself having much free time from homework or school work, there will always be something to do which seems like a bad thing but it will keep you out of a lot of a trouble.

Central High School doesn't have the best resources due to it being school located in a poverty stricken area. Teachers try their best but students who aren't in APs or IB classes don't care about their education. If you are in AP or IB I would recommend this school, because it is the only school in Middle Georgia with an IB program, and it has a diverse student body in IB.

The type of student who should attend Central High School is a person who desires educational challenges. Central is the top school in my city and we have the hardest curriculum. Central offers not just honors classes but International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement, as well as a few college level courses. The students taking these courses now are students who seek to get as much out of high school as they can so they take the classes that will give them the best education possible. A student attending Central should seek to get as great an education possible and seek to stay physically healthy. Central offers a multitude of classes that help meet this need for its students: team sports, a class that plays team based games, weightlifting, advanced PE, which is held at the town YMCA, students have the opportunity to use the pool, basketball courts, and weight room. A student who should attend Central is one who wishes to further them self.

Central High School is a place where students go if they want a challenge. Central takes part in the International Baccalaureate Program which is essentially a college readiness program that allows students to get used to the vigor that college classes have. Students, like myself, who choose to participate in such a program are saying that they are up for an academic challenge, and are ready to learn in new ways. The atmosphere that Central has is a very accepting one; typically I have found that in high school there are all sorts of social groups that were not nice to one another, this has not been the case for me during my high school experience. The students that you are able to interact with are extremely nice and open minded individuals. A student that chooses to attend Central is saying they are up for diversifying their knowledge and gaining a one of a kind experience that only Central can provide.

Anyone should attend Central High School because no matter what type of personality you have, you will find a group of people that are just like you. My school welcomes everyone no matter what type of student you are. By the time you graduate, you will be sad to leave all of the great friends that you made.

A student who wants to attend Central High School must be able to cope with a small setting. My high school is pretty small, therefore, the student also needs to be able to get along well with others. Since we are a tiny school, you will get to know everyone. The student who plans to attend Central High School must respect all of the teachers. Our teachers do not tolerate misbehavior. The student must also have an enormous amount of school spirit! Central High School is dedicated to spreading school spirit throughout the campus, so the student will have to spread it as well.
