Student, Montrose High School, Class of 2016,
Marching Band- This activity has roughly 120 students engaged in it (if you count the color gaurd 97 if you don't) I am a two-year section leader in this band. This is by far the most fun, but hardest extracurricular offered at MHS.
Football- as most towns revolve around their football teams Montrose does as well. With a solid team the usually wins the Regional Championships It is easy to recomend.
The NJROTC (Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Core) beats the Marching band with an average of 130-150 students each year. I was apart of it for two years but was unable to continue due to scheduling. Before I left I became a Cadet Seamen (roughly a AJROTC equivalent of a Cadet corporal/specialist). I would strongly recommend it to anyone, but especialy those with disciplinary issues. There isn't any issue 50 push-ups can't fix.
