Would you recommend attending Windsor High School if you had the choice? Why or why not?

I would recommend not going straight into Windsor High School, unless you have attended the Windsor Middle School before hand. Those who come into Windsor High without having known anyone and or interacted with their classmates when they were younger have a really hard time getting into a good friend group. My freshman year of high school, I went to Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, CO and had gone to school with the same group of students since as long ago as elementary school. It was a hard learning environment, so I made the transfer my sophomore year to Windsor. The transfer was really good for me academically, but socially I went into the school knowing one person. Yes I have met some really amazing people, but no one that I can consider a best friend, or even a life long classmate. So if someone is transferring into Windsor, I would say no. I would not recommend it. If someone is starting in the Windsor Middle School area and looking for high schools to attend, then yes because that class stays very close together through all four years of high school.

Yes, I would recommend this school because it is a very accepting school. We have many things to offer. Everyone fits into Windsor. We are located in a safe town or location. Our teachers and administrators are great. We offer the A+ program to help tuition in college. We have great sports and clubs and activities. Also, we have many programs to help students finish high school. Our school is very clean on the inside and out. The environment is safe as well. There are rarely reports of bullying, discrimination, and sexist remarks.

I would recommend attending Windsor High School because of its great teachers and all the support programs that it provides such as the Math Lab, Writing Center, SEC, and Learning Lab

I would recommend it for certain, the core system by which students can identify with are helpful in day to day life. The block schedule is very effective especially for the lab sciences that I have taken.
