I believe students who don't contribute to the school, such as students with disruptive behavior, don't belong in Waxahachie High. These students do not give the student body or the school system a good reputation. However, the teachers and students look past those with these traits and push them harder than the excelling students. Despite the outbursts of the bad students, the great ones always come back to help them, no matter what.

A shallow, intolerant, and narrow minded student should not attend WHS. It is evident to any one that walks the halls of our school or visits our classroom that teachers care about our students education. We are encouraged each day to be our own persons and are given the ability to express ourselves each and every day. Our athletic department is amazing but so is our drama, band and other programs with in the school We have a diverse population of students.

The type of student that should not attend Waxahachie High School is a slacker student who has no goals and is not ready to succeed. Our school district has enabled the high school with the necessary tools to help students succeed. Our teachers love their job and it has been my experience that they care about their students. However, I am a firm believer that a person can be dropped in the perfect school setting and if the person has no desire or goals, they will not succeed. A slacker or someone without goals, will not succeed because they will view all that the teachers do to challenge them as an aggressive move to control them. Those students recent teachers that believe in them and want to see them succeed. They are lazy. WHS is a place where anyone with a desire to learn and be successful can do so.

Waxahachie is a public school and accepts all students who live with in city limits. There are home schoolers and a stem-magnet school in the area, so I suppose any one who live outside of Waxahachie, is a home schooler, or prefers math and science to the traditional high school experience would not choose Waxahachie. The majority of student in this community choose Waxahachie High which is why the school reflects the community so well.

Honestly, as I said before, because WHS is a public high school, all students are welcome. No one is discouraged from attending because of lack of mental ability, ability to pay, race, gender, or religion. The only student who should not attend Waxahachie High School is the one who would be harmful to other students. Students who are harmful to others need to be helped to get back to the place where they can attend a High School with their peers. They clearly do not need to be around others until they can manage themselves.

Someone who would rather take advantage of people. Someone who doesn't like to give and doesn't necessarily care about his or hers education. A person that doesn't care for the school in general and doesn't care for other students.

A student who is not willing to strive for excellence is the type of student who should not attend WHS. If a student does not strive for excellence then they will not be as successful and will not embody the true Indian that a WHS student should be.

At my school if a student does not understand the material they imeediatly ask questions to help their knowledge, this requires the ability to speak up and admit that you're incorrect and anyone not willing to do that shoild not be attending my school.
