Honestly, CSUN caters to everyone. There shouldn't be a problem with any student. There are students who are disabled, international, colored, veterans, etc.

Anyone who does not care to attend school or sit in classrooms would probably not be an ideal student.

The students who should not attend this school are students who are not motivated to become successful. The students who are unmotivated and do not utilize their resources.

I feel that those who are quiet and keep to themselves may have great difficulty at CSUN. Is everyone on campus the friendliest? No. But if you do not try to reach out and make friends in your major classes or prerequisite classes you will find yourself stuck and lost. I had several classmates tell me their first year or two were difficult not having friends. Also, CSUN is mostly transfer students! Not being a transfer could also potentially be hard, for having relatable backgrounds may make it difficult for students.

The type of student who should not attend CSUN is one who is not ready to take advantage of the high level of education available at this school; one who is not willing to apply his or herself and work hard to learn.
