El Paso Community College provides several reasons for attendance. Small classes afford students with individualized attention from professors. I have found this makes a large impact in my learning and understanding of materials taught during class. Small classes also allow students to make more personal and closer connections with fellow students that are like minded in seeking an education. Given that EPCC is less expensive than the local university, it has become a better option for persons like myself, whom pay for school out of pocket.

Someone should attend El Paso Community College because EPCC is a best pace to start on their career path. With smaller classroom size, students are able to learn better there than at a university where the classroom size are larger because the instructors can work with the student on a one-on-one basis to help the student learn better. The cost to attend EPCC is significantly lower than attending a 4-year university, such as University of Texas at El Paso. For example, the parking permit for the entire year (fall, spring, summer semesters) are $45 whereas at a university like UTEP, a parking permit may range from a $100 to a couple hundred dollars for the same thing. Lastly, the campuses are not so large like UTEP. It may be a few buildings that are close to each other, such as the Northwest campus, or most of the departments are in the same building, such as the Transmountain campus. This is great for students so that they don't have to walk a long way just to get to class in five minutes, like at UTEP.
