I would only recommend VMHS to someone if they were willing to strive uphold our standards. Students unwillingly to put forth the effort would find it difficult to attend our school. At VMHS we have such high standards that many students from other districts transferring to our school which is why we have 1000 more students than other schools in our district. While we welcome these out of district transfers, it is also difficult to have such an overpopulated school. So therefore I would only recommend someone to attend VMHS if they were able to uphold our culture because if they were unwilling to, they would be unhappy and potentially taking the spot of a student who actually wished to attend our school.

I would definitely recommend Vista Murrieta High School to anyone because it is one of the best schools I have ever attended and I wouldn't pick any other high school if I had the choice. Of course there are some things that I would change but they are very minor. I love almost everything about the school. I love that we are one of the most spirited schools in the nation. I love how I can easily be involved in so many extracurriculars. I love how I can take college classes for six dollars per semester. I love how there are so many AP classes available. I love how if I need help in any way there are several places I can ask for it. I love our clubs that help other students, like PLUS and Link Crew. I love how there are so many clubs and sports that I am able to join. Because of this, I would recommend this school because there are so many possibilities for anyone to succeed in academics, sports, and other extracurriculars.

Yes, absolutely. Now Vista isn't perfect; the dress code is too strict, it focuses too much on football, and the whole 'school spirit' starts to get grating after 4 years. But God if it isn't great. I've never been to a more spirited, friendly, and exciting school, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
