Anonymous, Student, John F. Kennedy High School, Class of 2016

The type of student that should not attend JFK is someone who is unwilling to try. Our school is accepting of anyone that wants to try their best and get ahead in college. We have students who graduate high school and are already considered in their 2nd and 3rd year of college, but it takes effort. Students need to have the passion to want to succeed. If a student is unwilling to try in a regular high school, it will be harder at JFK with college classes. Although, there has been people who have struggled at their regular high schools and coming to JFK has helped them blossom to eager students and come out of their comfort zone. The difference between a student who goes to JFK and a student who doesn't, is that they are willing to endure a bit more.
