How competitive are the athletics at Austin College?

Austin College has 12 different varsity programs, all of which compete at the Division III level. Austin College teams have found success as a member of the Southern College Athletic Conference, playing schools from Colorado, Louisiana, and Texas. According to the most recent SCAC standings, the Austin College football team, as well as the women’s basketball, soccer, and tennis teams are the most competitive sports programs on campus.
Despite their small size, Austin College boasts a variety of state-of-the-art athletic facilities, including but not limited to the Verde Dickey Fitness Pavillion and the Jerry E. Apple Stadium.
