Arizona State University’s student body is really diverse, with students from all over the country and the world. And with four campuses around the Phoenix area, there’s a place for everyone here. Because ASU has so many degrees and opportunities to offer, an ideal student would be one who is open to trying new things and thinking outside the box. ASU’s programs are rigorous, so a student who was dedicated in high school would do well at the university.

There is no typical ASU student. I imagine that an ASU student who went to high school in Arizona is a relaxed, yet confident person. I transferred to ASU in January from the east coast, born and raised in Connecticut, I am still trying to figure this out myself! I think the type of person who should attend ASU is one that is not afraid of a challenge, likes to be surrounded by many people, is a forward-thinker and most importantly, doesn't mind the warm climate.

I think anyone can fit in at Arizona State, honestly. From what I have seen, the student body is quite diverse. I don't think you have to be a specific type of person to fit in here. As long as you can handle the heat early in the fall semester and late in the spring semester, then this is a school for you.

ASU has a high diversity of students, but if it had to be narrowed down, it would be well off students who went to a rich high school. Many non-resident middle eastern students are also present.

ASU is actually really diverse. There is a every group you can imagine, I don't think there is anything "typical" about the type of people you will find. Anything you want to explore, there is a group for that. You want to start your own 'group'? Its super easy. There is everything to preppy, punk, grunge, foreign, wealthy, indie, etc.

A typical student was someone who was very self motivated because professors at ASU are not going to baby you but they are willing to help if you approach them. They also were go at listening to instructions, got work done on time, but knew how to have a good time.
