If a student is only going to college to party or because their parents want them to attend a university, Grand Canyon is not for them. Grand Canyon heavily emphasizes how important school and relationships are over partying and other activities that could cause one to stray from the reason their there. Also, GCU is a huge financial commitment, if parents are the only reason a student is attending, it would be in their best interest to save their money and wait until they have a major or goal in mind they are wanting to accomplish and can put that money towards.

Since the campus offers both online and on campus programs, this school would be great for anyone. If a student is living out of the state of Arizona they may not choose to attend on campus unless they desire to travel. I find that it is also vital to be able to regularly communicate with instructors and counselors by telephone.

The student that does not like to work hard and is looking to party away their college days should not come to GCU because it is a dry Christian campus with RA's and Life Leaders in every living area that strive to keep the campus a safe place for everyone.

Somebody that is just interested to having a good time but not real serious about education. A lot of students coming out of high school just needs college to be a social atmosphere not necessarily to get ahead in life

Students who should not attend Grand Canyon University are those who are not willing to be a part of a community. Here at Grand Canyon University we are about family first, meaning our peers, staff, and faculty are a part of who we are. If a student is only willing to only be about themselves Grand Canyon is not the place for them. Although many may think that non-Christians are not welcomed her on campus, we as a Christian school are accepting of those who follow other religions or no religion at all.
