The Albright Child Development Center was established in 1974 as a model preschool and kindergarten for children ages three through six. Albright programs emphasize educational development. A developmentally appropriate curriculum features gently paced activities designed to nurture the childs love of learning and enhance cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. Expanding your childs horizons with educationally focused activities is important at Albright. From the food of different cultures to digging for dinosaur bones in the sandbox, children have lots of opportunities to explore the world. Children blossom through the use of a thematic and integrated approach to learning. Instruction is individualized and geared to the needs and abilities of the individual child. Our mission is to inspire and educate the scholar and leader in each student, building on a strong foundation in the liberal arts and sciences and a commitment to the best of human values, fostering a commitment to a lifetime of service and learning.
