Overview

The Jewish Academy says

The Jewish Academy is the only Jewish Day School in Suffolk County. Our exciting approach to education, with a strong emphasis on excellence in all academics, has created an enviable reputation for the JA in a short period of time. Our students learn about their beautiful Jewish heritage and Hebrew as a spoken language, while our individualized approach helps them develop their full potential in a dual curriculum. The Early Childhood Discovery Center gives them the excitement for learning, and the JA fills their mind with knowledge. A walk through the halls of the JA will immediately impress you with the creativity of our faculty and student body. At the JA, our talented teachers, including the Tech, PE, Art, Music and Dance specialists, take great pride in their work, and their dedication shines through every day. Our goal is to well prepare your child for a life of learning and accomplishments, while growing to appreciate the richness of their Jewish identity. Our emphasis on science and math, combined with a focus on Jewish values and character development, give your child the tools they need to grow into a person you will be proud of.
