Texas Christian Academy says

Texas Christian Academy is an accredited college preparatory school offering 6th-12th grade. Apply now for 2015-16!

Texas Christian Academy is committed to educating the whole person and preparing students to make contributions to a changing and challenging world.

To ensure core academic standards are vertically aligned and meet or exceed state standards, our curriculum guides include the philosophy, scope and sequence, adopted textbooks, and the TEKS objectives for each subject by grade level.

We use materials from several Christian publishing companies (ABeka, ACSI, Concerned Communications) as well as secular companies such as Saxon Math and Phonics, Houghton-Mifflin, and Sadlier-Oxford. We desire to select the best research-based instructional materials available from Christian and secular publishers in order to achieve our overall goal to honor God as we develop and equip servant leaders for God’s glory.

Secondary Curriculum The strength of the secondary school begins with the conversation between student and teacher, which is the heart of the student’s experience. Exploration of one’s place and responsibilities in a global community as well as our community is the foundation of the curriculum.

College Preparatory Texas Christian Academy’s college preparatory program is offered at three levels. Testing and student performance will determine which courses will be available to a student.

Dual Credit Classes Courses are available through McLennan Community College

Additional avenues of High School/College level opportunities are currently being pursued for the 2015-16 school year. As well as adapting advanced technology on a per student level.

Mission Statement

At Texas Christian Academy our mission is to develop & equip servant leaders for God’s glory, while providing excellence in education founded on a biblical worldview.
