Eagle and Parkcenter Montessori are new facilities providing a Montessori education. Our schools offer children from the ages of 2 1/2 through 9 a challenging and enriched Montessori curriculum. Our goal at Eagle and Parkcenter Montessori is to allow children the freedom to explore and develop a true love of learning, which they will keep with them long after leaving our school. Safety, warmth, and nurturing, in addition to the Montessori philosophy, are priorities of our schools. Our facilities in Eagle and Boise, Idaho offer parents and children alike, a sense of warmth and security in truly pleasant surroundings. The classrooms are large and well arranged to stimulate children's interests, while still being cozy and comfortable. Our playground area is a child's dream. It includes grass and sand areas and playground equipment to develop large motor skills. Our mission at Eagle Montessori and Parkcenter Montessori is to follow the teaching philosophy of Maria Montessori through a well-prepared environment that meets the needs and challenges of all children. We strive for academic excellence through practical exercises in the areas of Language, Math, Geography, Science, Sensorial activities and Practical Life. We commit to instilling in the child a natural and ongoing curiosity toward the world around them and create a true love of learning that will stay with the child throughout life. We strive to promote social graciousness and caring for each other and the environment. To meet the needs of each childs individual spirit, we allow him or her the freedom to explore, make mistakes, question and grow at a pace comfortable to the child. Our mission is to create a physical environment that allows a child to feel a sense of belonging, to feel safe and secure, and to develop and strengthen his or her self-esteem. We hold firm to the words of Maria Montessori herself, "The education of the very young child does not prepare him for school, but for life."
