WHHS has a diverse student body coming from Westchester, Connecticut, Riverdale, Manhattan, and Rockland counties. We provide round-trip transportation to all of these areas. Westchester offers a full range of co-curricular activities, including varsity sports, competitive academic teams, the arts, special interest clubs and Chessed programs. Our goal at Westchester Hebrew High School is academic excellence through relevant, innovative, context-based learning, ever mindful of the social and emotional well-being of our students. The power of our unique environment enables us to encourage responsibility, ethics, leadership, self-discovery, confidence and preparedness, as we believe that these are the skills necessary for success in both college and in life. Our low student-teacher ratios mean that WHHS students are actively engaged in their classes and encouraged to express themselves. Lively round-table discussions enable students to delve deeply into both secular and Judaic studies content. WHHS students explore their intellectual curiosity and learn to think critically, skills essential in the college years to follow. Our unique EDGE Program provides the opportunity for independent study and real-life experiential learning, helping students to explore and discover their personal and academic interests.WHHS continually strives to enhance its challenging curriculum in news way.
