Small World Learning's Full Profile

Small World Learning says

Small World Learning has been locally owned and operated for over 30 years and is licensed by the state of New Mexico. At Small World we provide an excellent educational curriculum and a warm, friendly and fun environment to prepare children for first grade. We strive to develop independence, confidence and self-control. Children are taught to write and identify their names, letters of the alphabet, numbers, phonics and basic math, health and science skills. The children have an opportunity to participate in the following activities: yoga, meditation, arts and crafts, dancing, various board games, and outside activities. Our classes are kept small to ensure that each child receives the attention that they deserve. The Small World staff is trained in Early Childhood Development and maintains 24 credit hours annually. The staff is also trained in first aid and CPR.

Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
