Students who attend OCA are loved, taught the Bible, instructed with a high standard of academics, and encouraged as they develop social skills. At OCA we are uniting a passion for Christ with excellence in academics. OCA is a fully accredited preschool through high school program.
OCA utilizes mainly Christian curriculum, such as A Beka Book, BJU Press, and Progeny Press. Even when secular curriculum is used as a resource, a concerted effort is made by teachers to teach through a biblical worldview lens. OCA is a standards-driven school, and standards are developed using such quality sources as The College Board Standards, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, National Science Education Standards, National Council of Teachers of English, highlight standards from the Stanford 10 Standardized Testing Compendium, and time-tested standards in the primary grades. Best practice and rigor are combined to create an effective learning environment.
