Pinecrest Schools is one of the few private/independent school systems in the United States. These family operated and family oriented schools, known as The Pinecrest Schools, have been serving the youth of southern california for over sixty years. Pinecrest Schools operates 9 campuses. Each campus offers something unique and separate from the others. The main thing that joins our schools together is the quality of education and child care that exists in a traditional/fundamental educational environment. Our school offers an outstanding education for students in grades K-8, an exceptional preschool experience for children ages 2 1/2 - 5, and a warm and nurturing atmosphere in our Toddler Center for children 18 months - 36 months. At Pinecrest, we take great pride in our academic and child care programs. A dedicated administration, carefully selected faculty and staff, along with small class sizes make Pinecrest an environment in which students are inherently eager to learn. As your child begins private education at Pinecrest School, you are entering a special community of parents concerned with providing the finest possible preparation for their child's future. We are very proud of the programs offered at our school. In addition to our regular curriculum, specialty classes are offered in Spanish, music and band, and computer.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
