St. Therese Catholic School is dedicated to providing an atmosphere in which Catholic, Christian values are developed. With Christ as our foundation, we promote self-dignity, instill respect for others, and encourage community. Our curriculum enables students to master skills, gain knowledge, and embrace both Christian morality and positive social attitudes. Our goal is to provide a total learning environment, enabling students to attain their highest level of academic and personal excellence. St. Therese Catholic School prepares students for the academic and spritual challenges of 21st century. We ensure academic achievement through a comprehensive curriculum aligned to national standards,built upon the underlying principles of rigor and reason, and integrated with the teachings of Catholic tradition. We maintain a complete Preschool - 8th Grade instructional program taught by a staff of cerified/highly qualified teachers. The school is led by an experienced and fully licensed principal. The instructional program is supported by integrated instructional technology including interactive SMART Technology, Renaissance Learning and Alpha Smart laptops.


In addition to a full academic program of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, we provide an active enrichment program consisting of Spanish, Vocal Music, Physical Education, and Religious Studies daily. Student learning is supported by a wide range of field trip experiences, grade level projects, and integrated instructional technology.

St. Therese provides a comprehensive Middle School program taught by fully certified/highly qualified secondary teachers focused on pre-collegiate preparation.

St. Therese also provides a High School experience on campus for students in grades 9 thru 12. The program includes online course work through Catholic Schools of Excellence, a nationally accredited online instructional program. In addition, juniors and seniors have the opportunity to take advantage of the "Concurrent Enrollment Program" offered at near by Pueblo Community College or at Colorado State University - Pueblo.

St. Therese Catholic School has not adopted "The Common Core" and does not report any student information to any agencies outside of the Diocese of Pueblo. The school is led by an experienced principal with over thirty years in education and a Board of Directors appointed by the Bishop.

Mission Statement

The mission of St. Therese Catholic School is to provide for the academic and spiritual growth and development of each student within an environment formed by the values of sacred scripture and the traditions of the Catholic Church.

The principal’s charge is to ensure that St. Therese Students are prepared for the spiritual challenges as well as the academic demands the 21st century. St. Therese Catholic School intends to inform and form the very being of its students. The school strives to not only influence what students know and are able to do, but also establish the foundation for the kind of people they will become.

Tuition Information

Student tuition at St. Therese is $3,300.00 per year. Registration Fee is $75.00 per family. Book Fees are $160.00 per student. Please contact the office for Pre-School tuition amounts
