SLS was established by families of Faith, Redeemer, and Trinity Lutheran Churches. These families wanted to see Lutheran education provided to the then three Springfield area Lutheran Churches. SLS is all about teaching children about their Savior and His world. We daily learn about the love of Jesus, and His forgiveness in our lives. We strive to give children and their families a safe and secure environment to allow for personal spiritual growth and academic success in all areas of studies and the arts.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
