Ben Lippen School says

Founded in 1940, and originally located in Asheville, N.C., Ben Lippen is a Scottish phrase meaning “Mountain of Trust.” Ben Lippen School educates more than 700 Pre-K through 12th grade students from a Christian perspective, providing a superior educational experience. Students are encouraged to pursue and develop their interests and talents, while high expectations and rigor encourage them to think critically and analytically. Small class sizes allow for personalized attention by our excellent faculty who love students and love to teach a biblically-integrated curriculum.

Ben Lippen is a boarding and day school, accredited by AdvancEd and ACSI. Our curriculum provides an accelerated education including French, Spanish, English as a Second Language, and numerous electives including robotics, computer programming, and drama. Students are able to enroll in honors, Advanced Placement, and dual (college) enrollment courses while at Ben Lippen. Ben Lippen also offers a wide array of opportunities in athletics, fine arts, and leadership. By offering an integrated Christian education, Ben Lippen strives to prepare its students for college by challenging them to apply biblical principles to all knowledge.

One hundred percent of Ben Lippen School graduates are accepted to college. Over the past several years, Ben Lippen students have consistently received over $4 million in renewable scholarships to some of the finest colleges and universities, including Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Washington University in St. Louis, University of Southern California, Duke, Boston College, University of Washington, Syracuse, Washington University in St. Louis, and Penn State.
