St. Mary School shares with the Church in the mission of Jesus Christ. In a faith-filled academic environment, children grow in their relationship with God, the Catholic Church and the community. St. Mary Parish offers Religious Education classes for grades Preschool to 9th Grade under the guidance of a Coordinator of Religious Education. Classes take place on Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings during the regular school year. Children in the Religious Education Program typically receive the sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist in 2nd Grade, and the sacrament of Confirmation in 9th Grade. Children who are older and have not received the sacraments attend special formation classes to prepare them for the sacraments. A committed and caring staff, involved parents, a well-rounded academic program along with many volunteers and supporters make St. Mary School an excellent choice for children ages two and one-half through fifth grade. Children who are rooted deeply in the knowledge and love of God will have the ability to face the opportunities and challenges that come their way at all ages and stages of their lives. At St. Mary School, we work in partnership with parents to educate children about God and His creation.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
