Overview

Emmanuel Christian School says

Emmanuel Christian School (ECS) in Manassas, Virginia, was established in 1979 by Emmanuel Baptist Church (EBC) with the purpose of providing an alternative educational provisional choice for families of EBC. Over the past 35 years, the school’s reach grew to include students of families within the Christian faith community in the surrounding Manassas City and Prince William County as well as some in neighboring areas such as Centreville and Gainesville. Since its establishment, ECS has: · Served thousands of families and students through the ministry of Christian education · Provided opportunities for employment for those desiring to serve in a Christian ministry · Impacted the surrounding communities as a witness for the Gospel
· As of June 2014, celebrated 29 High School graduations with 630 students completing High School

In January of 2014, a decision was made to curtail the Middle and High School programs and rebuild based on a design strategy that met the needs of the families we were serving and would serve in the future. The redesign is structured to restore the original purpose but recognize the demands on families attending Emmanuel Baptist Church and those living in the surrounding communities.
