Overview

St. Teresa Of Avila Campus says

The Cardinal Bernardin Early Childhood Center is a regional archdiocesan school and a ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago, Office of Catholic Schools. The mission of the Cardinal Bernardin Early Childhood Center is to provide a high quality Catholic educational environment for young children in a setting that supports their developmental needs. We believe that parents and the home environment are the major educational influences in the life of a young child. The staff supports parents in their role of discovering who their child is and what needs they have for their life journey outside the home. In a Catholic environment, it is our goal to support the child becoming a creative and competent human being who is fully aware of himself or herself, others and the earth. We seek to instill a love of learning, self-esteem, a sense of motivation as well as discipline and order. Our values provide an environment for children and families in which God can be encountered. It is an environment where the values of inclusion, justice, love, peace and right relationships are celebrated and communicated.
