The mission of the Crescent Academy is to prepare the children of the Greater Binghamton Area to be tomorrows leaders. Our Goal is to academically exceed the NYS curriculum by providing a balanced educational system that integrates the principles of Islam. Students are encouraged to build confidence, leadership and a sense of self, as well as develop an appreciation of Islamic heritage, in a multicultural environment that is supportive of each childs uniqueness. The Crescent Academy will provide and promote the highest level of education in a nurturing Islamic environment, raising future generations of students with a strong moral character and excellence in both Islamic and academic education.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
