The Family Foundation School is a college preparatory boarding school (grades 9 through 12) for teens at risk. We are registered with New York State Board of Regents and accredited by the Joint Commission and the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. We are a long-term program with a minimum stay of two semesters (12 months) and an average successful stay of eighteen months. The Family Foundation School is a fully accredited, college preparatory boarding school (grades 9-12) for bright, creative teens experiencing difficulty at home or school due to ADD, ADHD, ODD, mood disorders, social anxiety, or drug and alcohol abuse. We offer nurturing and supportive family living within a therapeutic, 12-Step environment, rigorous academics with tutoring and other learning support, interscholastic sports, a wide range of co-curricular activities, and year-round admissions. Daily therapeutic counseling for students and extensive parent and family counseling reflects our commitment to healing families, building character and changing lives.
