The Kings Academy is a Christian day and boarding school offering Pre-K, elementary school (grades K-5), middle school (grades 6-8) and upper school (grades 9-12). Day students from five surrounding counties join boarding students from throughout the United States and an average of 18 countries each year. Boarding students are admitted in grades 7-12. Located on 67 acres of gentle rolling foothills in East Tennessee, TKA is committed to empowering students to reach their greatest potential and equipping them for a life of service in the cause of Christ.

From its beginnings in a small log-cabin built in the mid-1800s, the academy has grown into its spacious 67-acre campus today. Located in the scenic foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee, the academy is proud of its heritage. With biblical values at the center of all its programs,the school has successfully educated students who have gone on to serve the world by becoming leaders in education, business, ministry, health care, politics, and more.

Students at The Kings Academy excel academically. Here are just a few statistics about TKA: Average of over 95% of graduates over the last 10 years have attended college. Average GPA for seniors over the last 11 years is 3.39. Average of 57% of seniors over the last 9 years have received scholarships TKA has served students from over 100 countries

From the kindergarten curriculum to the advanced calculus high school students take for college credit, everything about TKA is designed to prepare students for further study. We recognize that a student is not merely in the process of becoming; rather each student is someone of importance, with a God-designed mission in life. The Kings Academy academic plan immerses the student into an atmosphere where they discover and engage their talents in fine arts, language, athletics, and other disciplines. The well-rounded academy student who develops academically, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually is well prepared for the challenge of a university experience.
