Legacy Christian Academy's Full Profile

Legacy Christian Academy says

Legacy Christian Academy (LCA) is a private PreK-12th grade Christian school serving the northern suburbs of Minneapolis. Founded in 1976 as Meadow Creek Christian School and renamed to Legacy Christian Academy in 2009, LCA is creating a legacy of providing quality Christian education based upon a rigorous academic curriculum founded on biblical truths. LCA is an evangelical school that focuses on the essential doctrines of the Christian faith including the inerrancy of the Bible and the need for personal salvation through Jesus Christ.

LCA partners with parents to train each student in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of life. This calls for dedication to excellence in every aspect.

Our student body families represent over 100 area churches across the northern Minneapolis suburbs. LCA is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI), an accrediting association approved by the State of Minnesota. We strive to provide quality academic training within an environment that nurtures biblical values, morals, ethics, character, and a Christian worldview.

LCA produces leaders who, today, are impacting our world across the entire professional spectrum: social services, law, religion, business, military, performing and creative arts, medicine, politics, science, technology, and education. In order to accomplish this we strive to educate the whole child: spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.

We are conveniently located on a scenic 30-acre campus in Andover, Minnesota, a northern suburb of Minneapolis. In addition to instructional facilities, there are two soccer fields, two softball fields, a baseball field, a 12,000 square-foot sports center, a performing arts auditorium, and a spacious elementary playground.

Mission Statement

"Cultivating Christian leaders to change the world through Jesus Christ to the glory of God."

Legacy Christian Academy will partner with parents to both enrich the minds and disciple the hearts of their children in an academically excellent, Christ-centered environment to produce leaders who not only know and pursue God, but transform the world through a life of sacrifice, service, and righteousness.
