Black Hills Classical Christian Academy's Full Profile
Black Hills Classical Christian Academy says
The School strives to attract students from all economic levels and serve the community as a whole. BHCCA does screen all students to determine a good fit for the student with the School. We do not accommodate for any academic or developmental special needs. Our students must be able to meet average academic standards that include average reading and writing scores on nationally standardized tests. We follow the philosophy of classical theory set forth by Dorothy Sayers in her essay, The Lost Tools of Learning. This style adheres to the Trivium and the three levels of the Trivium, which are: The Grammar Stage, Logic or Dialectic Stage, and the Rhetorical Level of Learning. Ultimately, our end goal is to train young men and women to become Christian leaders and train them to impart to others the truth of God set forth by his Word. We also believe this can be achieved by giving them the best academic education possible.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
