Overview

American Christian Academy says

American Christian Academy (ACA) is an integral part of the total ministry of Spirit Life Church. The school serves to work in cooperation with the church and home as a vital link in educating children in Christian principles. Students are taught that all truth originates from God, that all knowledge and wisdom comes from God, including history, geography, science, music, and the arts, and that Jesus Christ is to be central in all learning and living. We've been involved in Christian Education for many years, but we've never been more excited about it than we are right now! The reason is American Christian Virtual Academy - an exciting, online, Christ-centered alternative to the secular worldview of public schools and the high expense of private institutions. ACVA provides parents across the nation a cost-effective way to offer their children faith-based college preparatory training in an exciting, home-based learning environment. Supported by our trained, anointed staff of licensed teachers, you direct your children's progress through the computer-based, Christ-centered curriculum.

Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
