Our mission is to place Christ at the center of all we do through spiritual education, communication and teamwork, innovative educational experiences, and service. St. Joseph Catholic School is participating in the Virtue Based Restorative Discipline (VBRD) Program with the anticipation of becoming a Virtue Based School by the end of the school year. This is a program that cultivates virtue and provides a rich foundation for fostering faith both at home and at school. This program shapes attitudes and behaviors that create a positive school and home climate. Students and parents will be learning about a virtue each month including the cardinal (prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance) and theological (faith, hope, and charity) virtues and studying a saint each month that models that virtue.Academically, our students score above the national average on standardized tests. Students are challenged through various types of instruction in order to maximize learning for each student. Academics teamed with the Virtue Based Restorative Discipline Program provide our students with the leadership skills, discipline, knolwedge and educational toolsto excel at the next educational level.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
